Managing Stress During and After the Holidays

The beginning of a new year is a time to look back at your accomplishments and events of the previous year. It’s also a time to reflect on the busy months that lead up to the end of the year. During the holidays, it’s easy to become consumed with decorating, baking, socializing, and shopping; many people may tend to forget about caring for themselves. For me, and maybe others diagnosed with relapsing MS (RMS), the stress around the holidays can become overwhelming. It’s important we listen to our bodies, so when times get stressful, we have a plan in place to relax and feel at ease. We need to remember to give ourselves the gift of putting ourselves first.
